What's New:

We're bck from NEDA Spring- Stephanie and Allure had a wonderful ride earning 3rd place in Training test 4. Kim and Cyly took 3rd in Training 2 and 6th in Training 4. We are all very pleased with their results so early in the season. Great work!

We're back from NEDA's spring schooling show at THE Farm in Tweksbury. It was a terribly wet day. Stephanie Hudon and French Allure braved a torrential downpour and rode a nice test to take 1st place in Training Level Test 1. Kim Meyer and Cyly got to ride once most of the rain was over and came in second in both Training 2 and Training 4. A great time was had by all in spite of the weather.

Both riders and horses will be at NEDA Spring in Marshfield this coming weekend.

Winthrop Farm would like to welcome Casey Holden to the summer staff at the farm. Casey is currently a student at U Mass Amherst and member of their equestrian team. She will be joining us this summer as our working student.

We are terribly sadden by our loss last Saturday of the barn's Grand Dame- Kayna 30 years and two months old left us and also left a huge hole in our hearts. We were blessed that we had so much wonderful time with her. She had the biggest heart of any little horse that ever lived. We will miss her every day.

Our beautiful Babe lost her fight with cancer just before Christmas. We miss her everyday.

We had a wonderful season out at the shows and we are busily using the cold winter months to prepare for the the 2008 season. We look forward to seeing you out there.
